Women, it’s time to stand up and make a change in the world. Women are constantly being targeted for violence and abuse, with over 1 in 4 experiencing physical or sexual assault in their lifetime. The solution? More awareness about these issues, more empowerment of women across the world, and more protection from authorities when needed. In this article we will discuss how to be aware of your surroundings, what you can do if someone is targeting you for violence or abuse, and where to go when you need help.

One of the most important things women can do to ensure their safety is be aware of their surroundings. This includes being aware of people and situations that may seem unsafe, and knowing how to get away if needed. It’s also important to have a support system in place, whether that be friends, family, or a support group specifically for survivors of violence and abuse. This is especially important when someone may be targeting you for this type of behavior, which can happen to anyone at any time. However, if a woman does end up in a situation where she’s facing physical or verbal assault from an individual or group, it’s crucial that they know their rights and understand how to get out safely. Here are a few things to keep in mind when dealing with violence and abuse:

  • Women should always have an exit plan before going anywhere.
  • If someone is being violent or threatening, they do not have the right to harm you. You can report them for assault if needed.
  • Any threats of violence or abuse should be taken seriously and reported to authorities.
  • It’s important not to isolate yourself, especially if you’re going through a tough time. Seek out support from friends, family, or professionals.

If you or someone you know is in danger, please call emergency services immediately. The National Domestic Violence Hotline provides crisis counseling and 24/hour support for victims of domestic violence.

Women are told that they can’t do certain things because it’s not safe. They are told to dress a certain way, to walk in pairs at night, and avoid dark alleys. Women have been conditioned into believing that the world is less safe for them than it is for men. Women are constantly being put under scrutiny because of their clothing choices or the route they take home from work, but this d

oesn’t need to be the case! The problem isn’t with women; it’s with society as a whole. Society tells us what we should or shouldn’t do according to gender norms and stereotypes, so let’s break these societal rules by taking back safety!

Here are a few things you can do to take back safety as a woman:

  • Reach out for help from the police, but don’t let yourself be taken advantage of. Ask questions and have them walk through with you what is going on so that they cannot confuse your lack of knowledge for guilt.
  • Avoid walking alone at night! If you absolutely must, make sure that you have a self-defense tool on hand with which to protect yourself.
  • Be aware of your surroundings! This means not having headphones in and being able to hear what’s going on around you. It also means traveling at odd hours when the streets are less crowded.

You don’t need to let society tell you what is and isn’t safe. You can take back safety by taking responsibility for your own security!
